MD Medical Group Announces of the Striking off the Cyprus Register of Companies

MD Medical Group IPJSC (“MD Medical”, "Group" or the "Company"; MOEX: MDMG), a leading Russian private healthcare provider, informs that according to part 14 of article 5 of the Federal Law "On International Companies" the Company has received from the Cyprus Registrar a Certificate of Striking off a Company. It certifies that MD MEDICAL GROUP INVESTMENTS PLC from 28 May 2024 has been struck off the register of companies of the Registrar of Companies in accordance with section 354XV of the Companies Law, Cap.113 because it is continuing under the legal regime of another country of jurisdiction. Previously, the Company informed that it had received the formal consent of the Cyprus Registrar to continue the activities of MD Medical outside the Republic of Cyprus.

The exclusion of MD Medical  from the Cyprus register mitigates the risks that may arise when registering simultaneously in two jurisdictions and is a confirmation of the transparency and consistency of the redomiciliation procedure in compliance with the legislation of both jurisdictions.
