MD Medical Group adds capacity in its leading field

MD Medical Group IPJSC (“MD Medical”, “MDMG”, "Group" or the "Company"; MOEX: MDMG), a leading Russian private healthcare provider, is happy to announce the opening of a third maternity department at the Lapino Clinical Hospital.

Today, a new, third maternity department within the clinical hospital's obstetrics service was opened at the Lapino-4 building, enabling about 2,000 additional births annually. Lapino-4 will pioneer a new "comfortable birth" concept, which will offer accessible medical care at affordable prices while maintaining the high quality standards of the Group's medical services.

Lapino-4 is a logical continuation of the traditions for which the women's center, the classic delivery room, the home obstetrics center, and the postnatal department of the Lapino Clinical Hospital are renowned. Lapino-4 offers modern facilities and a welcoming atmosphere, the hallmark of the Company’s quality:

• Private delivery rooms with the option of partner births

• High-tech operating rooms equipped with all the necessary equipment for scheduled and emergency cesarean sections

• Intensive care rooms for adults

• Comfortable single-bed postnatal rooms with private bathrooms, functionally equipped for the convenience of mother and baby

• Pediatric intensive care and the second stage of neonatal care are available in the main building of Lapino-1.

In addition to childbirth, Lapino-4 offers professional pregnancy support, including with the same obstetricians who will oversee the birth, as well as access to all diagnostic, laboratory, and other technological capabilities of the Lapino Clinical Hospital. If necessary, hospitalization in the pregnancy pathology department of the maternity department in the renovated building is also possible. Outpatient and inpatient capacity will be 24,000 outpatient visits and 2,190 inpatient days.

Efficient use of hospital complex space and additional delivery capacity will optimize the high utilization rate of the Group's Moscow hospitals' obstetrics departments amid steadily growing demand.
