MD Medical Group launches MD Group Michurinsky Multifunctional Hospital in Moscow
13 November 2023 – MD Medical Group Investments Plc (“MD Medical Group”, “MDMG”, the “Group or the “Company” – MOEX: MDMG), one of the largest healthcare companies in Russia, announces the opening of the out-patient division of its new multifunctional hospital MD Group Michurinsky (the “Hospital”).
The launch of an eight-floor medical centre with a total area of 8,755 sq m will be a two-stage process. Today, as part of the first stage, the diagnostic and treatment centre of the Hospital opens its doors to offer a full range of out-patient services. The out-patient clinic for adults offers consultations in areas such as therapy, gastroenterology, neurology, cardiology, traumatology, endocrinology, genetics, nephrology, osteopathy and other disciplines. Ultrasound and functional diagnostics are also available. Adults can get vaccinated against flu and other infections. The MD Group Michurinsky children’s out-patient clinic is also in operation starting today, offering to little patients appointments with paediatricians, neurologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, dermatologists, psychiatrists, massage therapists, and ultrasound practitioners. At the women’s health centre, patients can seek help from obstetrics and gynaecology specialists, ultrasound practitioners, and fertility specialists. The new multidisciplinary centre has an annual capacity of up to 231,000 out-patient treatments and up to 2,000 IVF cycles.
The in-patient division with a capacity of 60 beds, which includes 10 intensive care beds, 40 round-the-clock in-patient beds, 10 day in-patient beds and 6 state-of-the-art operating rooms, will be launched in December.
The new hospital will offer a wide range of healthcare services for the entire family, including surgical and medical treatment for adults, IVF, as well as functional diagnostics and out-patient care for adults and children. It boasts new modern medical equipment by some of the world's leading manufacturers, such as Karl Storz, General Electric Healthcare, Samsung, Mindray, and Fujifilm. The hospital will be offering treatment under Voluntary and Mandatory Health Insurance programmes.
